It does suffer from some drawbacks it being quite possibly the shortest katana and of course the method to get it. It's moveset revolves around vertical slashes and delayed strong attacks. The only difference is that it does not take away your health points and does not require the use of a bonfire ascetic to obtain. Due to its excellent scaling in dexterity, it can reach damage that rivals even the Chaos Blade. This, however, can be compensated by the fact that the Berserker Blade is one of the strongest katana of its class.
